I can't do ANYTHING without...

These are my must have, go to, everyday essentials. If I don't have these then I don't have anything. Well except my husband and my daughter :) ...

Number 1.

First off I have always been a M.A.C, NC 50 Studio Fix Fluid girl. Never worn anything else. Until one day I went into makeup heaven Sephora. I was looking for a new foundation and as you know it Tarte ReCreate Natural Anti-Aging Foundation stuck out. I love this stuff. So my color foundation is honey 16 ( its for tan skin with olive undertones). When the sales associate first picked this out, I was like "Hey, I'm only 29, are you trying to tell me I'm aging." But not even, its a natural product that helps increase your skin's overall moisture, and for me increasing my moisture is a MUST. It also has SPF 15 in it, which is a must these days with all of these harmful UV Rays. I discovered the great coverage that Tarte gives me, so now I'm branching out to discover other great foundations!!!

Tarte ReCreate anti-aging foundation with Wrinkle Rewind technology SPF 15, Cool Sand, 1 fl oz

Finding a new foundation that may give my MAC a run for it's money...pretty interesting to me...Tarte ReCreate Natural Anti Aging Foundation can be found at Sephora for $37 bucks

I don't know about you guys, but my lips will hate me in the morning if I don't keep gloss on them. I absolutely, positively need lip gloss in my purse. My go to brand of choice???? C.O. Bigelow. As the oldest Apothecary in America this brand has really come through for me. Chapstick can't touch the C.O. Bigelow Mentha Lip Shine / Breathe Freshener # 502. The plus side to this??? It's mint infused, so it gives a great cooling sensation and the peppermint oil gives your breath a bit of extra freshness. Now don't go out and not brush your teeth, thinking this product will deliver that kind of freshness, because it's not...it's just a hint..

C.O. Bigelow Mentha Lip Shine / Breath Freshener No. 502

C.O. Bigelow Mentha Lip Shine / Breath Fresher #502 can be found at Bath and Body Works or online at C.O. Bigelow for $7.50

I always thought that concealer was just to cover those unwanted blemishes on your face. So I never saw a need to use it. Not that I have perfect skin, but I have lived by every mother's rule to not pop a pimple on your face, because it can cause blemishes. I have a few blemishes but nothing a little foundation couldn't cover. So much to my dismay when I discovered what I could really use concealer for. Those unwanted dark circles under my eyes when my daughter doesn't seem to want to sleep at night. So then once I started to use it for those sleepless nights, I saw how bright it makes your eyes appear on a daily basis. I adore Sephora's Perfecting Cover Concealer in the color Camel. This concealer is waterproof, oil-free, smooth and non-cakey, it gives me coverage all day and it doesn't clog my pores!!!! Talk about concealing something...

Sephora perfecting Cover Concealer can be found at any Sephora for $16 bucks

Number 4.

I'm coo-koo for Sweet As Cocoa. MAC has a powder blush that's named Sweet As Cocoa, and it is hands down the best blush I have used to this date. I can use this everyday for a subtle look or I can add this to my face for a more daring look. However, to me it does only last about 4 hours or so. I also read some other reviews and some people have mentioned the 4 hour re-apply also. But that doesn't make me want to can my Cocoa. This blush is a bit dark when you first look at it, but as you apply it becomes a bit of a rosy brown color on your cheeks. I LOVE it.

MAC Other 0.21 oz Sheertone Shimmer Blush - Sweet As Cocoa
MAC Sweet As Cocoa Powder Blush can be found at a MAC counter or a MAC store for $19.50

Number 5.

I'm mad for Mad Cap.  Whenever I need a gloss or a high shine with just a tint of color (which by the way is all the time). Then I turn to Mad Cap by MAC. This lipglass has just a small hint of color that brings out the original pigmentation in my lips. I love how the color is neutral with the high gloss. I have even used this lipglass over a few lipsticks to bring more color out of it. Also, unlike some of the other lipglass that comes from MAC, this one is not too sticky nor too heavy feeling for my lips. It's just perfect for me.

FYI: to prevent a lot of the lipgloss/lipstick build up, try using a lip primer, concealer or even a chapstick (C.O. Bigelow) before you apply...me personally, I have to use my C.O. Bigelow before I apply anything!!!

Mad Cap Lipglass by MAC can be found at a MAC counter or a MAC store for $14.50
